Thank you for visiting the Lake Placid HS/MS Department of Technology Education Website.  At the top of this screen you will notice the links to all of the Technology Education courses offered this year.  Feel free to look around the different class to see the types of material these students are getting involved with this year. 

The Department of Technology Education is thrilled to offer two more “Contract Learning” course into the curriculum.  The two courses are Architectural Drafting as well as Electronics and Energy.  Now students have the opportunity to take Contract Learning Technical Drawing, Architectural Drafting, and Electronics and Energy.  You may be thinking, “What is Contract Learning?”  Contract Learning is a mix between an online class and an independent study that is offered three times throughout the day to allow for flexibility for students scheduling.  They are classes that are designed to fit the needs and interest of the individual student.
